Privacy Policy

This policy covers jerseycitymoldremoval.com and the request form on it. It is written to describe what actually happens to what you send, in the order it happens, rather than to cover every possibility. Last updated September 21, 2026.

What the request form collects

The form asks for your name, a phone number, an email address, the property address, the city, the state, the ZIP code, and a message describing what you are dealing with. If the page is showing the short set of questions above the form, your answers to those questions are collected too, as readable text rather than as codes.

The form also carries a hidden field named website which you will never see and should never fill in. It exists to catch automated submissions: anything that fills it is discarded without being sent anywhere. We do not ask for, and have no use for, a date of birth, a Social Security number, payment details or any health information. Please do not put any of those in the message box.

Which fields are required, and why each one

Five are required and the request will not send without them: your name, a valid US phone number, an email address, the property address and the ZIP code. The city, the state, the message and the answers to the questions are optional.

The name and the phone number are how a contractor reaches you to arrange a visit. The email address is required so there is a written confirmation of what you asked for and what was arranged, which matters on this site in particular, because the document is often the thing a tenant or a condo owner actually needs. The ZIP code and the property address decide who the request goes to: work here is matched by location, and in Jersey City it is matched by a much smaller area than the city, because the waterfront and the ridge are different jobs.

The property address, and how it is handled

The street address is the highest trust thing on the form, so it is asked for last, after the questions, and it is treated accordingly. It is sent to the CRM described below as a proper address field on your contact record, never buried in the text of a note.

It is deliberately kept out of our logs. When something goes wrong with a submission the error record notes only whether an address was present or absent, never the address itself, because a street line plus a ZIP code names a house and the people living in it. A partially written down address is not a redacted one, it is a slower one, so none of it is written down there at all.

Your answers to the questions above the form

Where the page shows a short set of questions, your answers travel with the request as plain readable text, for example the question asked and the option you picked. They are used for one thing: so that whoever picks up the request already knows roughly what they are dealing with and does not make you start again. They are not used to build a profile of you and they are not shared with anyone the request is not sent to.

How you arrived at this site

When you first land here, the site records how you got here and holds it in your browser's session storage until you send the form or close the tab. That record is the first touch only, not the last, and it is these items: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term if they were in the link you clicked, the referring website, the page you first landed on, and an advertising click id if the link carried one. Our own pages are never counted as a referrer, or every internal click would overwrite where you really came from.

The request also carries this site's own domain name as the lead source, which is how requests from this site are told apart from requests from other sites. None of this identifies you. It tells us which pages and which links are worth keeping.

Who your details go to

A submitted request is sent to GoHighLevel, a third party customer relationship management platform operated by HighLevel Inc., where it becomes a contact record with your message attached as a note. GoHighLevel is the only place a request goes. There is no second delivery route, no email copy sent somewhere else and no backup endpoint, which is deliberate: one path that fails loudly is safer for you than two that each half work. If the delivery fails you are told so on screen and given a way to contact us directly, instead of being shown a thank you page over a request that never arrived.

From there your details are passed to the contractor or the assessment company matched to your address, so they can contact you about the work you asked about. They are not sold, rented, or added to any marketing list belonging to anyone else. We do not post your details, your address or your situation on this site or anywhere else.

If you are renting

Most homes in this city are rented, so this comes up often. If you send a request about a property you rent, we do not contact your landlord, your management company or your condo association about it. Anything written up goes to you. Whether you show it to them is your decision, and it is usually the point of having it.

Analytics, tags and cookies

This site runs no analytics product, no advertising pixel and no third party tracking tag. Nothing here is set up to follow you to other websites. The only browser storage used is the session storage entry described above, which your browser clears when you close the tab, and it holds only how you arrived. If that ever changes, this section changes with it, in the same edit.

How long it is kept

A request is kept in the CRM for as long as it takes to arrange the work and follow it up, and then for up to twenty four months from the last time you were in contact, after which the record is deleted. Requests that are obviously automated, and anything caught by the hidden field described above, are discarded immediately. If a contractor has quoted or carried out work for you, they keep their own records under their own obligations, which is separate from ours.

Your choices

At any point, and without giving a reason, you can ask to see what is held on you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or have us stop contacting you. Ask by replying to any message you have had from us, or through the contact page on this site, and say which property address the request related to so the right record is found. Deleting a record does not undo a request already passed to a contractor, so tell them as well if you want them to stop.

Getting in touch about this policy

Questions about this page, or about anything held on you, go through the contact page or the phone number shown at the top of this site. If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and material changes apply only to requests made after that date.
